The High Peak Trail
Croft Farm Holiday Cottages are ideally located for exploring the hills and trails of the spectacular Peak District National Park. We have direct off-road access from our cottages onto the The High Peak Trail.
The High Peak Trail is a 17-mile-long trail located in the Peak District National Park. It is a traffic-free path that is great for both cycling and walking and passes through picturesque landscapes, rolling hills, and charming villages.
There are an abundance of walks and cycling routes from The High Peak Trail linking to the Tissington Trail and surrounding areas.
Minninglow, an ancient burial mound, is situated approximately a 10 minute walk from Croft Farm Holiday Cottages and can be seen from the High Peak Trail. It is one of the highest points in the area and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Click the link for a circular walk from Minninglow.
Linking to The High Peak Trail is the Tissington Trail, another 13 mile long trail, fantastic for exploring the area walking or cycling.
